World's rarest flower

Flowers are a wonderful gift to this earth. No one hates flowers as they deliver a smile on everyone's face.
But there are many species of flowers which are unknown to many of us. So, here is the rarest flower in the world.

Middlemist Red Camellia



 Middlemist Red Camellia is the world's rarest flower as now only two examples are there in the world.

One is there in a garden of New Zealand and the other one is in a greenhouse in Britain, actually came from China. In June, gardens are open for the public however they have to wait until next springs to see the middlemist's blooms.

Botanist John Middlemist brought this flower from China to London in 1804 and that's why it is named after him. 
Since it has been completely wiped out in China, the plant remained barren for years in Britain and has started blooming recently a few years ago.












It looks like a dark pink rose, known as middlemist red camellia however it is not red but deep pink.
These red camellias are believed to symbolise deep desire, love and passion.




Other examples of this specie might exist in people's garden, unknown to them, as these blooms were once directly sold by John Middlemist to the public.
